Seymour extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Mia Cunningham. The Seymour Wildcats strolled past the Watertown Indians with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 56-42 thanks in part to Cunningham, who went 11 for 18 on her way to 24 points and eight rebounds. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.
The team also got some help courtesy of Viktoria Michalczyk, who posted 11 points in addition to five assists and three steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played.
Seymour's win bumped their record up to 8-2.
Seymour will head out to take on Naugatuck at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Watertown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
