The Gabrielino Eagles's homestand will continue as they prepare to take on the Workman Lobos at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Gabrielino will be strutting in after a  victory while Workman will be coming in after a  defeat.
 Having struggled with 12  losses in a row dating back to last season, Gabrielino finally turned things around against Hoover  on Friday. They strolled past the Tornados with  points to spare, taking the game  26-7.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Gabrielino to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Isiah Caballero, who rushed for 84 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 32 receiving yards. Another signal caller making a difference was  Ely Lobban, who rushed for 46 yards and a touchdown.
 Meanwhile, Workman was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight  defeat. They were beaten by Canyon Springs 53-6.
 Gabrielino's first  win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Workman, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
