Colony proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 17) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Chugiak Mustangs, sneaking past 5-3. Winning may never get old, but the Knights sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Boman Marks was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run. Another player making a difference was Hayden Sherman, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Colony's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-3. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Chugiak, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.
