On the hitting side, Zamarippa Belle was excellent, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one stolen base and one run. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last seven games she's played.
Meanwhile, Troy fell victim to Brea Olinda and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 11-0. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.
Foothill pushed their record up to 12-13 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Troy, their loss dropped their record down to 7-16.
