The Franklin Sabers posted their biggest win yet this season on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Racine Case 68-41 on the road. With Franklin ahead 39-17 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Franklin was led to victory by Rachael Jepsen and Lauren Capstran. Jepsen scored 17 points along with seven rebounds, while Capstran scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Ella Gromowski, who scored 12 points.
The win makes it two in a row for Franklin and bumps their season record up to 10-7. As for Racine Case, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Franklin's road trip will continue as they head out to face Kenosha Tremper at 7:00 p.m. on January 30th. As for Racine Case, they will challenge Shoreland Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
