While Friday's win was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Sydney Martin. On Friday she dropped a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds. The effort also marked the most steals (seven) she has had since back in December of 2023. She has been hot recently, having also posted three or more steals the last three times she's played.

Coming up, Martin and Standley Lake are taking a road trip to take on Littleton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Martin hasn't had any trouble running up the score (she's averaged 15 per game this season), but she'll have her work cut out for her against a dominant the Lions defense that's only given up 36.7 points per game.
