Flowers is 9-1 against Parkdale since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Jaguars duke it out with the Panthers. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Parkdale will be up against a hot Flowers squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Flowers came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 59-55 W against DuVal. Given the Jaguars' advantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 25th, while the Tigers are ranked 93rd), the result last Thursday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Flowers relied on the efforts of Tyrell Bowles, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and 13 rebounds, and Brandon Brooks, who posted 18 points along with eight boards and five assists. Bowles is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last ten games he's played. Another player making a difference was Joshua Nsiah, who had ten points.
Flowers smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 14 consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Parkdale rose to the challenge on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 73-54 victory over the Mustangs. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won five in a row.
Flowers better keep an eye on Jacob Wilson. He was instrumental in Parkdale's win, shooting 56% from the field on his way to 22 points. The last time Wilson's field goal percentage was this high was back in January. The team also got some help courtesy of EJ Healey, who earned 15 points.
Flowers pushed their record up to 18-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Parkdale, their win bumped their record up to 9-14.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Flowers has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 31.7 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Parkdale struggles in that department as they've been averaging 24 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Flowers strolled past Parkdale in their previous matchup two weeks ago by a score of 78-63. The rematch might be a little tougher for Flowers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
