The Woodland Wolverines entered their tilt with the Hampton County Hurricanes with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Woodland snuck past the Hurricanes with a 45-41 victory on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Woodland also won the last time the pair played last Friday.
Kah'Liyah Geddis was the offensive standout of the match as she scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lyniah Kitt, who scored 11 points.
Woodland has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-13 record this season. As for Hampton County, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-10.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Barnwell the next time they take the court. Woodland will head out to face the Warhorses at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Hurricanes will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
