Amite were successful in their last outing against Pine, and they didn't afford Pine any payback this time around. Amite took their contest against Pine on Thursday by a conclusive 38-6 score. The margin was wide but not a surprise since Amite are ranked far ahead of Pine in the MaxPreps state rankings.
The victory bumped Amite's record up to 7-1. The loss dropped Pine's record to 3-4.
Next week Amite take on Pope John Paul II at 7:00 PM. Pope John Paul II are limping into the match on a four-game losing streak. As for Pine, they will face off against Independence.
