The McCutcheon Mavericks will venture away from home to square off against the Harrison Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in McCutcheon's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
Last Friday, McCutcheon ended up a good deal behind Kokomo and lost 84-67. The Mavericks haven't had much luck with the Wildkats recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Despite the loss, McCutcheon saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Brody Baker went 8 of 18 en route to 22 points. Baker's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Brody Raeke, who went 8 of 13 en route to 19 points.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Harrison, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat Danville 86-47. The contest marked the Raiders' most dominant win of the season so far.
Harrison's win came from a few key players McCutcheon will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Malachi King, who went 8 of 11 on his way to 18 points along with five assists and five boards. He has been hot recently, having posted 18 or more points the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Reid Smith, who went 7 of 11 on his way to 16 points.
Harrison was working as a unit and finished the game with 30 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since the start of last season.
Harrison's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.4 points per game. As for McCutcheon, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as McCutcheon and Harrison are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. McCutcheon hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 68.4 points per game. However, it's not like Harrison struggles in that department as they've been averaging 63.4 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
McCutcheon came up short against Harrison when the teams last played last Saturday, falling 66-58. Can McCutcheon avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
