Meanwhile, Chatfield faced Arvada West in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. Chatfield fell just short of Arvada West by a score of 3-2.
In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Chatfield sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 12-25, 25-22, 23-25, 15-10.
Eaton's victory was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-0. As for Chatfield, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3.
