Jennah Murphy was another key player, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs.

West Valley's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-4. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for San Jacinto, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9.
West Valley's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: San Jacinto has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11.6 hits per game. It's a different story for West Valley, though, as they've been averaging 9.9 hits. Given San Jacinto's sizable advantage in that area, the Mustangs will need to find a way to close that gap.
