Linden was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Flushing on Monday. The Eagles blew past the Raiders 10-1. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Sophia Helm (2025) and Addyson Sturgis (2025) did most of the damage at the plate: Helm (2025) went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Sturgis (2025) scored two runs while going 3-for-4. That home run was Helm (2025)'s first of the season. Morgan Piotrovsky (2025) was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-4.

They weren't the only one making solid contact: Linden kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits every time they've taken the field this season.

Linden now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Flushing, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Linden beat the Raiders by a score of 14-1 later that day.
