Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Creekside). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the San Jose Prep Storm 77-47. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 60th, while the Storm are ranked 474th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Creekside got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Yussef Elmaadawy out in front who posted 13 points. Those 13 points gave Elmaadawy a new career-high. Derek Rivers was another key player, going 5 for 7 en route to 12 points and six boards.

Creekside was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in four consecutive matchups.

Creekside has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season. As for San Jose Prep, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-12.
