Dwyer found their leader in underclassman Liz Lynskey-Lake, who scored 13 points along with five steals. That's the first time this season that Lynskey-Lake grabbed two or more steals. Amy Manzano was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with four steals.
Dwyer's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-8. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points per game. As for Jupiter, their loss dropped their record down to 3-13.
Dwyer will look to defend their home court on Monday against Palm Beach Lakes at 7:30 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (Palm Beach Lakes is ranked 137th, while Dwyer is ranked 143rd). As for Jupiter, Jupiter and Santaluces will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Santaluces is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
