Baseball Recap: Dundee Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

While Dundee's win against Madison wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Vikings had just enough and edged out the Trojans 10-8. Winning may never get old, but the Vikings sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Cam Fairchild was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Joey Brink was another key player, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with one double and one RBI.

Dundee's victory bumped their record up to 19-11. As for Madison, they dropped their record down to 22-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Coincidentally, Dundee and Madison will both be playing Hudson the next time they take the field. The Vikings will head out to face the Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Trojans will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
