Huron and Galion are an even 3-3 against one another since October of 2015, but not for long. Huron will take on Galion in a tournament on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Huron has five straight victories, Galion has ten straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
Huron will bounce into Thursday's matchup after beating Bishop Hartley, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Tigers put the hurt on the Hawks with a sharp 3-0 win on Saturday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
One reason for the win was Huron's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-21, 25-18.
