Everything went their way against Pinon on Wednesday as Show Low made off with a 65-43 victory. Winning may never get old, but Show Low sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Show Low's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Preston Power led the charge by scoring 22 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Power has scored at least 25% of Show Low's points. Cameron Wallentine was another key contributor, scoring 19 points.
Show Low has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. As for Pinon, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.
Show Low won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Camp Verde at 12:00 p.m. on December 28th. As for Pinon, they will head out on the road to face off against Hopi at 7:30 p.m. on January 4, 2024. One thing working in Hopi's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four games.
