If Waverly wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Mesrobian, they should've done a better job of containing Nicholas Khatchikian. The Mesrobian Bulldogs blew past the Waverly Ravens 119-25 on Thursday thanks in part to Khatchikian, who went 48 of 99 en route to 102 points in addition to eight boards and six steals. The contest was his 16th in a row with at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Dylan Khatchikian, who dropped a triple-double on 15 rebounds, 35 assists, and 13 steals. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 8.1 boards per game.

Mesrobian is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.3 points per game. As for Waverly, their loss was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-9.

Mesrobian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against New Covenant Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mesrobian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.8 points per game this season. As for Waverly, they will square off against Southwestern Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
