Jourdanton has gone a perfect 4-0 against Cole recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Indians/Squaws will welcome the Cougars at 5:00 p.m. Jourdanton will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.
Last Friday, Jourdanton was able to grind out a solid victory over Poteet, taking the game 8-3.

Wyatt Avery made a splash while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.
In other batting news, Kevin Garcia was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Will Griego, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Meanwhile, Cole came up short against Randolph on Friday and fell 6-2. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Like Jourdanton, Cole also got a great game from a two-way player: Landon Snyder. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Snyder was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. That stolen base was his first of the season.
In other batting news, Kiosy Steiner made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances. Josh Zimmerman also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
Jourdanton's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-4-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Cole, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-15.
Jourdanton took their win against Cole in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 15-5 score. Will the Indians/Squaws repeat their success, or do the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
