The Goshen Eagles were the 59-33 winner over the Brantley Bulldogs when they last played one another last Monday, but their luck changed this time around. The contest between the pair wasn't particularly close, with Goshen falling 65-46.
It was another big night for Jayden Parks, who scored 23 points along with seven rebounds and five assists for Brantley. The contest was Parks' seventh in a row with at least ten points. Daylan Davis was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds.
Goshen's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Brantley, they pushed their record up to 5-3 with that win, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Goshen will square off against Pike County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Brantley and Opp will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
