The Gibson Southern Titans will head out on the road to  challenge  the Pike Central Chargers at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Both teams come into the  match bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Gibson Southern scored the most points they've had all season to find success  on Friday. They claimed a resounding  75-26 victory over Tecumseh on the road. Perhaps unsurprisinly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest  victory of the season.
 Gibson Southern's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Brodey Lamb led the charge by  scoring 13 points along with two  steals. Lamb hasn't dropped below two  steals for four straight games.  Cam Truxal was another key contributor,  dropping  a double-double on 11 points and 11  assists.
 Meanwhile, Pike Central was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Tell City 65-38 on the road. Given Pike Central's advantage  in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings  (they are ranked 159th, while Tell City is ranked 430th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Gibson Southern's victory  ended a four-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 7-13. As for Pike Central, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won eight of their last ten matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record  this season.
 Gibson Southern came up short against Pike Central in their previous matchup  back in December of 2022, falling  55-48. Can Gibson Southern avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
