Cedaredge scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They took down Olathe 80-65. With that win, Cedaredge brought their scoring average up to 51.1 points per game.
Cedaredge's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jacob Bowler, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 13 rebounds. That's the first time this season that Bowler scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Maxey, who scored 24 points along with five assists and two steals.
Even though Grand Valley has not done well against Roaring Fork recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Grand Valley walked away with a 61-53 win over Roaring Fork. That eight points margin sets a new team best for Grand Valley this season.
Cedaredge's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Grand Valley, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-7.
