In what's become a running theme this season, the Lyndon Tigers gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 77-41 win over Council Grove on the road. The victory was just business as usual for Lyndon, who after nine games remain undefeated this season.
Despite the loss, Council Grove still got an impressive performance from Kolby Rose, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds. That's the first time this season that Rose pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kyzer Spittles, who scored seven points.
Lyndon's victory bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Council Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.
The two teams will face off on January 19th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Council Grove focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Thursday. They will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Lyndon on January 19th. Lyndon has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 415 points over their last six games.
