Cimarron has gone 9-1 against Lakin recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Bluejays will head out to face off against the Broncs at 4:00 p.m. Cimarron is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.8 runs per game this season.

Things were looking good for Cimarron after they put the first run on the board on Thursday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They took a 13-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of Liberal. That's two games in a row now that the Bluejays have lost by exactly three runs.

Zayla Hunsaker and Ashlynn Randa did some serious damage despite the final result: Hunsaker went 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double, while Randa went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Abby Becker was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Lakin didn't have quite enough to beat Hugoton on Thursday and fell 7-6.

Taegen Oldham made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lileah Villa, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Lakin's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-11. As for Cimarron, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-6.

Monday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Cimarron hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .367. However, it's not like Lakin struggles in that department as they've averaged .316. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
