Tussey Mountain gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Everett Warriors as the Tussey Mountain Titans made off with a 14-4 win. The Titans haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Camden Chilcote was a major factor no matter where he played. He pitched five innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off only two hits. Chilcote was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in runs.

In other batting news, Jax Garner and Aidan Lane did most of the damage at the plate: Garner scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3, while Lane scored a run while going 3-for-4. Those two runs gave Garner a new career-high. Landon Myers was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Tussey Mountain always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .611. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Everett only posted an OBP of .190.
This is the second loss in a row for Everett and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tussey Mountain will welcome Claysburg-Kimmel at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
