Adding to the longest winning streak in Central Connecticut I East this week, Glastonbury beat Windsor 49-21. The victory was the ninth in a row for the Tomahawks.
South Windsor lost to Southington 45-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Jake Hedberg threw for 258 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Anthony Rivas was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 115 yards on 11 carries as Manchester bested New Britain. Junior Vasquez also contributed to the rushing game with 84 yards on the ground.
The Indians' Hedberg and Andrew Grenier have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Hedberg has thrown for 2,411 yards this season, while Grenier has 56 catches for 939 yards. James Nyarko from the Bobcats leads the league in rushing with 876 yards.
So far this year, he has garnered 56 catches for 939 yards.
Glastonbury led Central Connecticut I East in scoring this week by notching 49 points on the Warriors.
