Imagine Prep Superstition had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 34-24 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Heritage Academy Heroes. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Heroes apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Heritage Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Elliott Cahall, who rushed for 95 yards and a touchdown, and also caught a touchdown. Cahall got the majority of those yards when he took off on a run and that went for an incredible75 yards. Johnathan Turcott was in the mix too, providing Heritage Academy with two touchdowns touchdowns.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Imagine Prep Superstition will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off.
