There's no place like home for Drew Charter, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against South Atlanta by a score of 67-60 on Tuesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Despite the loss, South Atlanta saw an underclassman step up: Duor Duor dropped a double-double on 21 points and 13 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Duor has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Saku Hurst, who scored 16 points along with nine rebounds.
Drew Charter has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-10 record this season. As for South Atlanta, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-6.
Drew Charter will head out on the road to take on Walker at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Walker has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 514 points over their last eight games. As for South Atlanta, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Mount Paran Christian at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Mount Paran Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 last Saturday.
