Ben L. Smith had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 51-27 margin over the Eastern Guilford Wildcats. The Golden Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 20 points or more this season.

Ben L. Smith was led to victory by Kalicia DeBerry and Amani Williams. DeBerry posted 17 points, while Williams scored 14 points. DeBerry's evening made it six games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Leanna Maffett, who had seven points.

Ben L. Smith's win bumped their record up to 19-3. As for Eastern Guilford, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-13.
