Banning's loss came despite strong showings from Riley Aguilar and Junior Dunahoo. Aguilar scored seven points along with ten rebounds and two blocks, while Dunahoo dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. Aguilar is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Franky Salazar, who scored six points.
Jayden Gonzalez continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Indio, scoring 23 points. Gonzalez is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 18 or more in the last 12 games he's played. Darren Thomas was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Banning's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Indio, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 16-5.
