CHASE's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 52-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lapeer Lakers Homeschool. While losing is never fun, CHASE can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 526th, while Lapeer Lakers Homeschool is ranked 153rd).
Lapeer Lakers Homeschool was led to victory by John Hayse and Aiden Lomasney. Hayse scored nine points along with 11 rebounds and three blocks, while Lomasney scored 20 points along with five rebounds and two blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lomasney has scored all season. Joshua Campbell was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven assists.
CHASE's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Lapeer Lakers Homeschool, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.
CHASE will be playing in front of their home fans against More Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lapeer Lakers Homeschool will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Faith Christian at 6:30 p.m. on February 13th.
