There's no place like home for St. Joseph, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 17-2 margin over the Central Bearcats on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Bearcats: they've now won seven in a row.

Zayne Stober looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk).

At the plate, St. Joseph got a massive performance out of Eli Kragt, who scored three runs while going 3-for-4. Isaac Weber was another key player, scoring three runs while going 3-for-3.

The win got St. Joseph back to even at 2-2. As for Central, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

St. Joseph will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bearcats: the pair will be back at it again later today.
