 On the hitting side,  Myles Cobb was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with one  triple, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI. He is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last three games he's  played.  Fisher Bobbitt was another key player,  scoring three  runs and  stealing three bases while going 1-for-4.
Holmes' win was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 7-2. The  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Northeastern,  they are  on  a  six-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
 Looking ahead, Holmes will head out on the road to  square off against  Heritage  at 10:30  a.m.  on Saturday.
