It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Palmerton had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over the Salisbury Township Falcons. The victory was familiar territory for the Blue Bombers, who have now won nine matchups in a row.
Cameron Pengelly made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Pengelly was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March.
