The Coconino Panthers won the last time they faced the Thunderbird Titans, and things went their way on Thursday too. Coconino came out on top against Thunderbird by a score of 60-50. With that win, Coconino brought their scoring average up to 51.7 points per game.
Coconino got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Aviana Scharfenberger out in front who scored 12 points. The contest was Scharfenberger's third in a row with at least ten points. Aubrae Laughter was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Coconino and bumps their season record up to 2-1. As for Thunderbird, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
Coconino will head out on the road to face off against Apollo at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Thunderbird won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Vista Grande at 7:00 p.m. on December 1st.
