Adding to the longest winning streak in Okaw Valley - Blue this week, Maroa-Forsyth beat Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond 24-19. The win marks 11th in a row for the the Trojans.
Maroa-Forsyth and the Knights played the most contested game in the league this week, with Maroa-Forsyth eventually emerging with a 24-19 victory. Jack Hockaday threw for 91 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 74 yards during the win.
Josh Jostes' team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Arbor Emroski chipped in 163 yards. Clayton Zilz helped Maroa-Forsyth's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 36 yards.
Emroski was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 163 yards on 20 carries as the Trojans topped Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond. Hockaday also contributed to the rushing game with 74 yards on the ground.
Maroa-Forsyth's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Trojans feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Hockaday has thrown for 2,067 yards and 29 touchdowns this season, while Fredericksen has 38 catches for 764 yards. Hockaday also leads the league in rushing with 683 yards.
Maroa-Forsyth led the league in points allowed with 19.
