There's no place like home for the Chicago Vocational Cavaliers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top against Chicago Military Academy by a score of 64-53 on Wednesday.
Chicago Vocational's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Samuel Bellamy led the charge by scoring 20 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bellamy has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenneth Ford, who scored 17 points.
Chicago Vocational's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-13. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points per game. As for Chicago Military Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-13.
Chicago Vocational will head out on the road to face off against Perspectives-IIT/Joslin at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Chicago Military Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
