The Oberlin Tigers pushed their score all the way to 73 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were the victim of a rough 97-73 loss at the hands of Oak Hill. Despite running the score up even higher than they did last Saturday (66), Oberlin still had to take the loss.
Brilee Dousay continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Oak Hill, scoring 20 points along with seven assists and seven steals. Dousay has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played. Alexis Dyer was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with nine rebounds.
Oberlin's loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-9. As for Oak Hill, their victory bumped their record up to 20-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oberlin will take on Grand Lake at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Oak Hill, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Pitkin at 6:00 p.m.
