It was an underclassman who stole the show on Friday as Jenai Mumphery came into the matchup with something to prove. She was dialed in and scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. She played a big game the last time she faced Banneker, so the team probably should've seen her coming.
Mumphery and Tri-Cities will square off against Mays at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Mumphery will face off against Chloe Evans, Mays' star shooting guard. Will Mumphery turn in another gem to overcome Tri-Cities? We'll have our answer very soon.
