Central Cass faced West Fargo in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Squirrels came out on top against the Packers by a score of 9-6. Winning may never get old, but the Squirrels sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Central Cass' victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.3 runs over those games. As for West Fargo, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central Cass will venture away from home to take on Lisbon at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for West Fargo, they will head out to face off against Sheyenne at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. The Mustangs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.57 runs per game on average), something the Packers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
