Victory Christian Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Last Tuesday, Victory Christian Academy lost to Families of Faith Christian Academy at home by a decisive 62-47 margin.
Ellen Penner put forth a good effort for the losing side as she scored 26 points along with 6 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Amariah Jankowski, who scored 13 points.
Wheeler fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They came out on top against River Forest by a score of 35-27 on Friday.
Their wins bumped Victory Christian Academy to 2-3 and Families of Faith Christian Academy to 5-3.
Victory Christian Academy might still be hurting after the 35-10 defeat they got from Wheeler in their previous meeting back in December of 2022. Can Victory Christian Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
