Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Central). They blew past the Minneola Wildcats, posting a 59-26 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Timberwolves, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Despite the defeat, Minneola had strong showings from Braegen Shelor, who posted ten points, and Rhianne Swonger, who had no points.

The win was the third in a row for South Central, bringing their record for this year to 4-1. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.7 points per game. As for Minneola, they dropped their record down to 3-4 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

South Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 48-42 defeat against Medicine Lodge on the 10th. As for Minneola, they will face off against Hodgeman County at 6:30 p.m. on January 14th.
