Severance is on a six-game streak of home wins, while the Falcons are on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Severance Silver Knights will take on the Skyline Falcons at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication,  the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
 Severance stacked  a  seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. They blew past Fort Morgan 73-30 on the road. With Severance ahead  44-14 at the half, the  contest was all but over already.
 Severance's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Ryan Ewoniuk led the charge by  scoring 18 points along with two  steals.  Brady Varney was another key contributor,  dropping  a double-double on ten points and ten  rebounds.
 Meanwhile, Skyline really took it to the Cougars for the full four quarters, racking up a  67-33 victory on the road. That 34 point margin sets a new team best for Skyline this season.
 Severance has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 12 of their last 13 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. As for Skyline, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.
 Severance took their  win against the Falcons  when the teams last played  back in January by a conclusive  57-34. Will Severance repeat their success,  or do  the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
