Baseball Recap: Forest Has No Trouble Against Trenton

After only two runs in their last matchup, Forest made sure to put some runs up on the board against Trenton on Tuesday. Everything went the Forest Wildcats' way against the Trenton Tigers as the Forest Wildcats made off with a 14-4 win. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by six runs or more this season.

Forest got a massive performance out of Michael Dominguez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI and two runs. The dominant performance gave Dominguez a new career-high in RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Javier Molina, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Forest always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .636. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Forest now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Trenton, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-2.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Forest Wildcats challenge Dunnellon Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on March 25th. As for Trenton, they will challenge Union County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Trenton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season.
