Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead South County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mathew Ramirez, who had four digs and four aces. The dominant performance also gave Ramirez a new career-high in assists (12). Devin Ko was another key player, getting eight digs and one assist.
They weren't the only good servers: South County was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lake Braddock only served seven.
Meanwhile, Hayfield earned a 3-1 win over Lewis on Thursday.
South County's record now sits at 12-2. As for Hayfield, their record is now 5-6.
