Softball Recap: Lakeside Wins Going Away Against Medical Lake

Lakeside barely beat Medical Lake the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles put the hurt on the Cardinals with a sharp 9-3 win on Wednesday. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by six runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Lakeside and bumps their season record up to 10-10. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Medical Lake, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-13.

As of now, neither Lakeside nor the Cardinals have any future games scheduled.
