Make it 13 blowout wins for the Washington Eagles this season. They blew past Kashmere, posting a 36-6 victory on the road. Winning may never get old, but Washington sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Leading Washington to victory were Chloe Cleare and Danaya Pope. Cleare scored nine points, while Pope scored 18 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Pope has scored at least a third of Washington's points.
Washington has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. As for Kashmere, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.
Washington will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against North Forest at 7:30 p.m. on January 22nd. Kashmere will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Wheatley at 7:30 p.m. on January 31st.
