The Cole Camp Blue Birds won the last time they faced the Warsaw Wildcats, and things went their way on Thursday too. Cole Camp took down Warsaw 55-39. Given Cole Camp's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 137th, while Warsaw is ranked 459th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Warsaw's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Logan Gemes, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Noah Siebert, who scored 12 points.
Cole Camp's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.4 points per game. As for Warsaw, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cole Camp will take on Russellville at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Warsaw, they will head out on the road to face off against Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
