Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Leonardtown Raiders walked away with it. They didn't even let Reservoir onto the board and left with a 21-0 win on Friday. The win was familiar territory for Leonardtown who now have three in a row.
Jacob Floyd threw for 45 yards on four of six attempts. Isaac Sirvon eubanks was his top target, picking up 27 receiving yards. On the ground, Zach Meade rushed for 125 yards.
Leonardtown is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season. As for Reservoir, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-3.
Leonardtown will head out on the road to face off against Perry Hall at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Perry Hall is on a seven-game streak of home wins, Leonardtown a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the field. Reservoir does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
